Mesotherapy Skin Rejuvenation?
Mesotherapy is an effective alternative to skin peels and micro-dermabrasion. It’s a long-lasting anti-ageing facial treatment that’s used for skin rejuvenation because it encourages the production of natural collagen and elastin, making skin look younger, firmer and more radiant.
It’s painless (although you may feel a very slight scratching) and there’s no downtime – you’ll simpy enjoy instantly plumped, revitalised skin.
How does Mesotherapy work?
Superfine needles flood your skin cells with hyaluronic acid and essential vitamins and minerals for an instant skin tightening and plumping effect – this is called the ‘nappage’ technique.
This ‘wakes up’ your fibroblasts (the skin cells that build new collagen fibres) and helps to reverse the signs of ageing.
Mesotherapy doesn’t go as deep as micro-needling – where micro-needling goes to 0.5 cm (the dermal layer) for direct collagen stimulation, Mesotherapy uses a shallow injection of around 0.1 cm and focuses on the mesodermal layer for skin rejuvenation.
What are the benefits of Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy plumps and refines to give maximum results with minimal invasiveness. It’s an excellent facial treatment for dehydration and fine lines and wrinkles, and visibly improves issues like open pores, congestion, pigmentation and dull dry skin.
I can also use Mesotherapy to inject collagen directly into fine lines and wrinkles which instantly plumps them for a smoother, more youthful look. The technique is called ‘papule’ – the hyaluronic acid and serum is injected just under the upper layer of skin.
This creates a small bump (or papule) into a specific line or wrinkle and floods it with serum that instantly plumps and fills. It’s a fantastic alternative to the dermal filler and completely natural.

The actual Mesotherapy treatment only takes around 20 minutes, but the full treatment takes between 45 and 60 minutes. I’ll cleanse the skin and apply some soothing serums first, then carry out the nappage technique. Afterwards, I’ll apply a mask, cleanse again and finish with some more gentle serums and creams.
You’ll see a result after just one treatment. But you’ll need to give your skin time to heal before the next treatment which is usually 2-6 weeks later - treatment protocols will vary, however, a minimum of 3 treatments is more often recommended.
