- My role is to coach you and help you to take responsibility for your own health; Initially cleansing the liver, balancing hormones and feeding your gut is the most practical nutrition advice which will result in weight-loss and improved skin cell turnover and overall health and wellness
- My home from Coventry, currently live in Rugby and work in Leamington Spa Warwickshire.
- My purpose: I truly believe that each day it’s my responsibility to be the best I can be for myself and to provide you with the most honest up to date expert nutrition and skin advice.
- My passion is to educate and share with anyone who wants to listen; as long as you are serious, committed, and want to make changes to improve your Skin, health and well-being then I am for you. The results are instant, everlasting as the feeling of optimum wellness is priceless; It’s about natural solutions for a more confident youthful you..
- My education has come from my Nutritional Therapy foundation degree, DipION from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), Functional Medicine graduate and currently embarking on MSc in Advanced Nutrition. My expertise has come from working in clinical practice with people like you and own personal experience of skin care and relationship with food!

My Lifestyle Business
Each day I wake 6am do my Yoga and start each day with the drive and determination to be the best I can be for you and my own health. As a business owner, a partner to Steve, a daughter, sister and auntie, my goal is to be happy and satisfied with myself, as its important to me to have inner strength and happiness so I can positively influence others around me.
Turning 40 years old
In July 2016 I turned 40 years, at this point in my life I am very proud of what I achieved and learned along the way. When I was 30 years old Steve and I decided that having a family was not for us, so a change in career from a financial adviser felt like the right way forward for me. We are fit and healthy, both physically and mentally, my happiness would be halved with him and his ongoing support and encouragement.
Love A Challenge
I love to set small challenges each month either personally or with the business and clinic, they tend to be things like no alcohol for 40 days, 30 days of fitness, half marathons or try to not annoy Steve! These are not the hardest challenges I have ever faced, however, they are the ones that my only my habits and behaviours can influence the outcomes.
Enjoying the Good Life
We like the good things in life and that even goes for my choice of tipple; I’m a real Champagne Charlie and love relaxing after work with our friends Hels & Nick in the sunshine or snuggled up on the sofa with Steve and a bottle of Italian red wine watching some forensic American crime program or the Formula 1 Race on a Sunday afternoon after our long training run and seeing my Mum or Steve's Dad.
Each day is full of existing new challenges with the food choices for Steve and I, to reading new information and try new supplements, workout regimes or recipes. However it is not always a bed of happy fluffy roses, I have had my challenges, mainly with myself, and whilst food is my work these days, I have used it to punish myself, find control and distract myself from whatever issues I needed to face. As an example, today while writing this I am finding it very difficult to understand what a widget is, or my domain name SSL password. Every time it gets complicated my reaction is to look in the fridge for the answer, after many years of doing this, I have come to realise the answer is never in the refrigerator, it’s more often when I go the Draycote Water for a run or have a Personal Training session. However, the bowl of raspberries and yogurt I have just enjoyed has calmed me down sufficiently to write another blog..
My Values and Beliefs
From personal experience; working with clients and other experts the main lesson is: Talk is cheap, saying you are going to do something and actually doing it, making the change, and facing your fears each day, is priceless! For me, if say I am going to do something I will do everything in my power to ensure I give it my focus and time. This belief provides me with structure, direction and happiness, for my own nutrition, fitness to family relationships;
Open and Honesty
My most valuable lesson has been to be open and honest with myself, you and my long-term existing clients. If I’m not honest with myself and believe in my true values how can I be the best girlfriend, friend, daughter, sister, and auntie let alone your Nutri-Skin Therapist?
When someone does do what they say they are going to do I instantly admire and respect them. My existing long-term clients are an absolute inspiration to me, they often surprise themselves, yet when I meet them I know this is the beginning of a new journey to happiness for them and they are going to overcome so many issues and feel fabulous within days!
