Body Contouring Treatments - HIFU

Non-Surgical Lipo or Non-Invasive Skin Tightening and Tummy Fat Reduction Leamington Spa

Are you searching for an alternative to liposuction? Have you ever considered treatments such as body sculpting or contouring without surgery? Commonly known technologies are Thermage or Ultherapy, but the best sculpting body treatments use advanced radio frequency for skin tightening technology combined with ultrasound for fat removal called HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound.

Body Contouring Treatment with HIFU - High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound

Body Sculpting Treatments perfect natural alternative to a tummy tuck, reduce pockets of fat, tighten skin after weight loss. HIFU is the perfect non-invasive alternative to surgery as it works with your own body’s processes and is safe and effective. By delivering focused ultrasound energy deep into the skin, this creates a disruption of stubborn fat cells. The stored energy in those damaged fat cells is metabolised via the muscles and your liver. This disruption induces the body’s natural inflammation response to repair which results in firmness to the tone of the skin that can NOT be achieved through dieting and exercise alone.

What is Fat Freezing (Cryolipolysis)

Fat Freezing Treatments are another non-invasive alternative treatment which is perfect for the tummy area. It destroys fat cells naturally and quickly. Combined fat freezing with HIFU Body Sculpting treatments for skin tightening after the Fat Freezing (Cryolipolysis) treatment forms part of the body contouring protocols.

How to Lose Belly Fat with HIFU Body Treatments

Non Invasive liposuction treatments are perfect for fat reduction on your tummy. The body sculpting treatments give you fast results the tummy, flanks and inside legs. HIFU treatments provide great results for skin tightening at the back of arms, around the hips and also above the knee and ankles. Did you know, the number of fat cells we have in our bodies is decided when we’re teenagers? We don’t gain or lose fat cells through our lives - the fat cells just get larger or smaller. This is an important factor to understand when considering weight loss. To be clear, these treatments will not help your weight loss but will help the distribution and condition of those cells around the body.

How Does Hifu Work?

HIFU - High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound have the combined power of Ultrasound and Radio Frequency which disrupts fat cells and generates a natural skin rejuvenation process on pockets of fat and uneven skin tone. The focused energy penetrates to varying depths to destroy subcutaneous fatty tissue. This stubborn tissue reacts to the heat by naturally disposing of stored energy from the fat cells to your liver and muscles and metabolised as energy.

How to get tight skin with HIFU

It is all about the non-invasive approach to achieving temperatures of up to 75°c within the skin cells to generate an instant, natural inflammatory response. The body’s response to the heat is to produce collagen and elastin which tightens the skin instantly.

Results can be seen within hours and develop further over weeks. Your body will naturally metabolise energy released from the fat cells in the treated area. The collagen and elastin produced in this time mean you will see and feel, tighter, smooth and toned skin long term.

Non-Invasive Body Sculpting Treatments vs Liposuction Surgery

What Causes Body Fat Pockets?

Body fat accumulates in certain areas of our bodies and is hormone related. For example, if your diet is high in carbohydrates, you’re more likely to have a deposit of fat around your middle. During menopause, you will likely experience an estrogen imbalance and some thyroid malfunction. In this case, you’re more likely to feel this increase of fat in your bottom/thighs and the back of your arms.

Liposuction Costs - Tummy Tuck

Liposuction Cost is an important factor - a hospital bed might cost approx £3,000 with surgeons fees on top of that, so if you are thinking of having a tummy tuck, you will be spending at least £4,500- £6000 for the tummy tuck. There are higher health risks during surgery including MRSA and other complications. Pain and discomfort are other factors as well as time - convalescence to allow the body to recover from trauma can impact your life for up to six months or more.

Liposuction Risk of Surgery

There is also a physical downside to liposuction which many people are not aware of. As I have stated earlier, we develop a certain amount of fat cells in our bodies. When weight is gained the number of fat cells don’t increase, they just get bigger. Fat cells are there for a reason. The physical removal of these cells can cause dimpling and cavitation dips in the treated areas. Initially, your body will respond by swelling and might look smooth or plump while the bruising comes out. After around 6-12 months of healing, many clients report dimples on the skin where the fat cells have been removed. Not a massive issue as we have then completed a course of HIFU Skin Tightening to solve the issue.

Benefits of HIFU - Non-Invasive Tummy Tuck

HIFU is an on-skin, (non-Invasive) in-clinic treatment. Fat cells react to the high energy and react evenly over the treatment area. It is important to concentrate on certain treatment areas as the depth of energy will also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for skin tightening. In short, Liposuction is the forceful removal of cells from your body with substantial post-surgery recovery time. HIFU removes extraneous fat from the cells while leaving those cells in place and you will walk out of the clinic with no downtime.

How many are HIFU Treatments required for a tummy tuck or saggy skin

The biggest advantage of a HIFU protocol is the efficiency of each treatment. For optimum results, I recommend a maximum of 3 treatments over a 12 week period with a rest period of a further 12 weeks. You have the option to repeat a further 3 treatments if you want more. This protocol has provided the most cost-effective and visual results as sometimes less is more. While liposuction is painful both financially and physically, as my recommended HIFU treatment protocol is only over 3 months but you can spread the cost over six months. If this is something you would like to consider have a look at my Skin Gym Monthly subscription which combines this body protocol and skin treatments from just £395 per month.

HIFU verses 3d Lipo or 3d Lipomed

The main advantage of HIFU in comparison to 3d Lipo cavitation and radio frequency from a 3d lipomed machine is TIME. One course of eight 3d-lipo cavitation treatments have the same effect on your tummy or saggy skin as just one HIFU Body Sculpting Treatment (30-60mins). So take a moment to think about how much time you will save by choosing HIFU verses 3d Lipo. As from experience, previously working with a 3d Lipo machine, it takes 60 mins per treatment each week for 8 weeks. Then once you complete your first course of eight treatments you are only just starting to see the results. Therefore you need a 2nd course of 3d-lipo to start to feel confident the treatments are working. You have now had 16 treatments over 16 weeks, that is of course if you manage to get to all your appointments! Do you have time for that? 1 x Hifu = 8 weeks of 3d-Lipo?

Frequently Asked Questions - Non Invasive Body Sculpting HIFU Treatments

Are HIFU treatments safe and do they hurt?

Yes, HIFU treatments are 100% safe and non-invasive.

Client feedback gives a medium to an uncomfortable rating on Body Sculpting HIFU treatments. Felt more like prickly heat and similar to laser treatment, the heat can build through the session but does not last long.

We can adjust the energy output during treatment to ease the comfort rating. It’s important to mention that, the more energy we put into the skin the more the body will react with an inflammatory response. The inflammatory response is vital for skin firming and tightening.

Are HIFU results permanent?

The results will last as long as it takes for your skin to naturally age. Maintenance treatments are recommended but not essential. Your skin will certainly not sag more after the treatment. You might become more aware of changes because by then you’ll be used to your younger, firmer looking skin!

Which HIFU depth is right for me?

There are various depths of energy the HIFU can penetrate dependent on your body fat percentage and skin thickness in the treatment area. During your consultation, we will discuss the types, timing and frequency of treatments that will work for you.

When you become a client, I will keep a close eye on you and your skin quality. We will discuss any protocol changes at your consultation and on a continuous basis. Your bespoke treatment programme will be design based on your personal goals and how well your skin reacts to the treatment.

What areas do HIFU work best on?

Everywhere that there is loose skin: Here is my guide for pricing and treatment areas

  • Small area: Inside arms, inside legs, or lower tummy
  • Medium: Tummy, flanks, or outside legs, full arms
  • Large: Tummy and flanks, inside & outside legs, large tummy
Does HIFU work for men and women?

Yes, the treatments are suitable for both men and women.

How many HIFU Treatments do I need?

The answer depends on the treatment area, how much body fat is there, and how much skin needs tightening. For example, cellulite treatments usually need more time than tummy fat. As a general guide, I would say 3 x treatments per body area, 1 per month with a 3-month rest before doing the same area again.

If you’re going on a sunny holiday I would recommend a treatment 4 weeks before you leave so that your body has time to recover - But not essential..

What are the side effects of HIFU Treatment?

Some skin bruising may appear after a few days and will reduce within 10 days. You will notice the actual firming effect around 2 weeks, this is the time it takes for your natural inflammatory response to produce the collagen and elastin in your dermis.

There are no negative side effects on non-invasive body fat reduction, skin tightening or cellulite treatments.

Because we are activating the body’s natural systems to see results, you might see and feel some internal bruising. Please be assured, it can look worse than it feels - in fact, it’s a positive outcome as we know the treatment is working.

How long does it take see results with HIFU Treatments

You will notice the actual firming effect at around 2 weeks post-treatment after any bruising has gone. This is the time it takes for your natural inflammatory response to produce the collagen and elastin in your dermis.

Body Sculpting Treatments can take up to 3 months for full effect, hence the recommended rest between courses. This is so we give the body enough time to produce the natural collagen and elastin required - important to know when starting treatments, as you will need to plan ahead!

Body Sculpting Treatments for fat reduction or fat removal the inch loss is felt within 2 weeks and does develop over time.

Can I have a Face Treatment and HIFU Body Treatment at the same time?

Yes, you can, it’s an ideal chance to improve the quality of skin at the same time as your body contouring. I tend to do your face first and whilst you are relaxing the collagen mask I can then do you body contouring so the treatment time is still only 60mins

Can I have Non Surgical Face Lift and Body Sculpting in one treatment?

This is not something I would recommend. I’ve tried this myself in the past and found it was just too uncomfortable. If you would like me to treat multiple areas we can book you a session a few days later.

Why? I want to put as much energy as possible into your skin and give you the best chance of great results. I know from experience that after a 30 min treatment, tolerance levels are most likely to drop - so the second treatment area would not get the maximum energy for the results we’re looking for.

But it's up to you..
